Angelina Lavo is a phenomenon. A multi-talented DJ, producer, and vocalist based out of Los Angeles, she was instilled with a love for music at an early age and now brings that passion with a will to make the room erupt in dance. Her mixes and signature live mashups have earned her hundreds of thousands of streams, catching the attention of Tiesto’s deep house label, AFTR:HRS for her latest release. A collaboration with Hard Rock Sofa, “Crazy Things” is among the first of many compelling new releases in the works for 2019, charting to #32 on Beatport’s Top 100 Dance Chart.
Angelina Lavo’s love for music began when she started playing piano at age six, but her career started when she moved to New York City. Constantly inspired
by the city’s energy and fervor, she dove into lending her voice to records and collaborating with producer Omen (Drake, Beyoncé, Action Bronson, Lil Wayne) on “Circus Act,” which gained over half a million plays on YouTube, as well as 2000’s rap superstar Twista (“Slow Jamz,” “Overnight Celebrity”) on “Cotton Candy.” Angelina has worked with international forces across the music industry, including Lu Diaz, the man behind Pitbull’s rise to superstardom. Their 2013 track together, “Let’s Fall In Love,” charted at #38 on the Billboard Dance
Club Chart in that same year, attracting support from respected critics and contemporaries. Armed with these successes and a growing name in the dance music scene, Angelina took her passion and natural abilities one step further to produce her own music. She debuted her career with two deep house club tracks that charted in the top 20 on Beatport’s Deep House Chart.
2019 has seen Angelina Lavo focus on infectious, club-ready music. Ahead of “Crazy Things,” her remixes of “Short Dick Man” and “Heaven” gained viral attention, along with her live mash-up sessions, opening the doors wide open for more earth shaking new music and DJ sets throughout the year.
